Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Wolff Walker Law ('we,' 'us,' or 'the firm') collects through wolffwalkerinjurylaw.com (the 'Site'), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. Please read it together with our Terms of Use and the disclaimers shown on the Site.

1.Information we collect

We collect information you choose to share with us, mainly through our callback and appointment forms:

CategoryExamples
Identifiers & contact infoName, phone number, email address, city
Accident & case detailsType of accident, approximate date, whether you already have an attorney, a description of what happened, appointment day/time preferences
Health-related information (sensitive)Injuries or pain you describe, whether you have received medical treatment
CommunicationsMessages you send by phone, text (SMS) or WhatsApp, and your consent to be contacted
Technical & usage dataPages viewed, buttons clicked (e.g., call, text, WhatsApp), preferred language, and, if you arrived from an ad, which campaign brought you here

Fields marked optional (like email or additional notes) are never required to request a callback.

2.How we collect it

  • Directly from you, when you fill out a form, request an appointment, call, text, or message us on WhatsApp.
  • Automatically, through your browser (see 'Cookies & browser storage' below).

3.How we use it

  • To review your request and contact you about a possible consultation or appointment.
  • To respond to the questions or messages you send us.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • To understand which pages and advertising campaigns are useful to visitors, so we can serve our community better.
  • To comply with the law and protect the rights, safety, and property of the firm and others.

We do not use the information you submit to make any automated decision about your case. A person reviews every request.

4.Cookies & browser storage

The Site uses limited browser storage instead of traditional tracking cookies:

  • Language preference (localStorage): remembers whether you chose English or Español, so you don't have to choose again.
  • Session identifier (sessionStorage): a random code used only to connect your visit with a request you submit in the same visit. It is deleted automatically when you close your browser tab.

If we add advertising measurement tools in the future, such as Google Ads or Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand which ads lead to requests, those tools may set their own cookies. If we do, we will update this section to name them and explain your choices.

You can block or delete browser storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so may reset your language preference.

5.How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us run the Site and manage requests, such as our website hosting provider and Google Workspace/Google Sheets, where submitted forms are securely recorded for our team to review. These providers are only allowed to use your information to provide services to us.
  • With co-counsel or referral attorneys, only if the firm refers your matter to another attorney and only as needed to evaluate or handle your case.
  • If required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the firm, our clients, or others.
  • With your consent, or as otherwise described in this policy.

6.Sensitive personal information

Details about your injuries or medical treatment are 'sensitive personal information' under California law. We collect this only to evaluate your possible case, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not disclose it except as described in 'How we share information' above. You may decline to provide these details; you can still request a callback with just your name and phone number.

7.Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we have used it.
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, information we must keep for legal reasons).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, so there is nothing to opt out of today.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is reasonably necessary to provide the services you requested, which is already how we use it.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To submit a request, contact us using the information in 'Contact us' below. We will need to verify your identity (typically your name and phone number or email on file) before processing your request, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

8.How long we keep it

We keep the information from your request for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate it, contact you, and comply with our legal and professional recordkeeping obligations. If the firm represents you, information related to your case is kept according to our client file retention practices, which we can explain during your consultation.

9.Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-limited systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid including highly sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers) in our online forms.

10.Children's privacy

This Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If your child was involved in an accident, a parent or guardian should submit the request on the child's behalf.

11.Third-party links & services

The Site includes a Google Maps view of our office and links to call, text (SMS), or message us on WhatsApp. When you use these, you leave our Site and the third party's own privacy policy applies (for example, Google's or Meta's). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

12.Not an attorney-client relationship

Submitting a form on this Site, calling, texting, or messaging us does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not a substitute for legal advice. Information you send us before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be treated as privileged or confidential. Please do not send information you consider highly sensitive until the firm has confirmed representation.

13.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new tools to the Site. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
